What can we do to reduce the dangers of highly processed foods? Since a large amount of food around us includes highly processed food and it may be impossible for us to completely eliminate them from our meals, what do you think we should do to avoid the health risks they pose to our lives?
First of all, it may be difficult to tell your child or teenager to give up soft drinks, ice cream, chocolate or sausage completely, but you should be able to manage the issue to maintain a balance.
Second, in order to eat healthier food in every meal, it is better to use fresh food or at least eat less processed foodstuff. That is, read the ingredients part of the food packaging. If the ingredients include those you usually use in kitchen, such as salt, sugar, pepper, oil, they are at least healthier than ingredients (Potassium sorbate (E202), Calcium propionate (E282), Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (E471), Diacetyl Tartaric Acid) you have never heard of.
And finally, cook more at home because it is difficult to identify what ingredients have been added to the food you prepare from outside, and by cooking at home, you can have easier control over your meal.
