To reduce pesticide residues in children's body
-If possible, after washing the fruits, peel them and if you use vegetables like lettuce and kale, remove some of their outer leaves and throw them away!
-Don't buy fruits and vegetables that have rotten or bruised parts on them because chemical toxins may remain in such parts.
-Try to buy fresh agricultural products available in the same season. In order not to damage the agricultural products that come from remote areas during the long transportation, they are harvested a little earlier and sometimes they are sprayed with chemicals after harvesting. So be careful!
-Due to the low body weight of children and the possibility of high contamination of some agricultural products, it is recommended to give them a few types of fruits in small quantities instead of giving them large amount of one type of fruit in each meal.
And finally, because some pesticides are fat-friendly and there is good possibility for them to remain in the skin and fatty tissue of animal meat, it is better to separate the skin and fat when cooking baby food.
